Arising

The fire bird or Phoenix is perhaps one of the more well known symbols of resurrection. Rising from the ashes to create new life.  Arising is meant to celebrate those moments when we have come out of the other side of a difficult challenge or journey. When we have triumphed over the odds and realised our potential.  It’s a good time to look back on what you’ve achieved and be proud of your accomplishments.  Arising is about having all the resilience and resources you need to be powerful within. 

This card deliberately moved away from the traditional Phoenix imagery, to one more like a fire bird.  Almost as if a heron suddenly rises up in flight to become a rich collection of warm, hot feathers that have an energising glow to them. 

This is because this card also celebrates the unique aspects to your journey that you’re experiencing.  Every one of us experiences life differently, looking through our circumstances with our own individual perspective.  Remember to honour the special elements within your journey that have helped shape your reactions and responses, and those elements that have resulted in tremendous personal or spiritual growth for you. 

With this growth, you can move forward in life, continuing to put your own energy into building the life you choose.
