Soulfulness

Aristotle gave the butterfly the name Psyche, the Greek word for the soul. 

This card is meant to represent those times when our soul guides us forward through any change.  When we grow and further develop our human spirit.  When what we say and do really comes from our heart. 

Butterflies can be symbolic of our own soul’s journey.  Transforming as we progress through life, and reflective of how we learn lessons along the way and adapt our approach to life. How sometimes we need to go inward, and spend time focusing on ourselves and our own development, before emerging outwardly as a beautifully transformed being. 

But the soul’s journey can also be reflective of a hero’s journey. Where we go through a period of life when we feel we are being tested, but we learn from our mistakes and draw on our inner strength to triumph over our challenges, and in the process regain our confidence and joy for life.
